Junior Controller (36 hours)

Are you an ambitious and meticulous Junior Controller with a passion for numbers? We are seeking a driven Junior Controller for our head office in Elst (Gld), for 36 hours per week.
What will you do as a Junior Controller?
You will be the right-hand person to the Financial Controller and play a crucial role in our organisation's financial management. You will ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial data and contribute to insightful reports. Your duties are diverse and challenging:
Month and quarter-end closing: Assist with preparing periodic financial reports and analyses.
Budgeting and forecasting: Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Accounts payable and receivable management: Enter incoming invoices and assist with accounts receivable management.
Analysis: Identify discrepancies, ask questions and help analyse financial data.
Process optimisation: Proactively contribute ideas for improving financial processes and internal controls.
Ad-hoc tasks: Support the Financial Controller with various financial and administrative duties.
What do you bring?
We are looking for an eager and proactive colleague who is keen to give their financial career a flying start. You are highly analytical, have an eye for detail, and work in a structured manner.
A completed higher professional education (HBO) degree in a financial field, such as Business Economics, Finance & Control, or Accountancy.
0 to 3 years of relevant work experience; starters with the right motivation are also invited to apply.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in Dutch and English.
A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
A team player who is also able to work independently.
