## SMA eCharger Charging Station 22kW - Three Phase


The SMA eCharger Charging Station 22kW manages the intelligent charging of electric vehicles on site. This system integrates seamlessly with the three-phase Hybrid X inverters and the central Sunny Home Manager 2.0. The charger utilizes automatic phase-switching to charge vehicles with self-generated electricity even during periods of low solar power generation. The device combines grid power and solar energy to charge vehicles up to two times faster than standard wallboxes. The built-in intelligence adapts the charging process to the actual consumption in the building and accommodates dynamic tariff structures.


You choose a universal upgrade for both residential and commercial energy systems with this model. The charger works directly with the solar energy installation to load excess solar energy straight into the car. This ensures the vehicle charges purely on solar power without drawing down the connected home battery storage. Installation runs smoothly due to the logical layout of the terminal clamps.
