Growatt GroHome Manager-X: All-in-One Smart Energy Meter & Datalogger

The Growatt GroHome Manager-X is a revolutionary all-in-one solution, combining a wireless smart kWh meter and a powerful datalogger into a single, compact device. It acts as the central brain of your energy system, seamlessly bridging the gap between your solar energy production and your home's consumption for maximum efficiency.

Intelligent Energy Management

The core smart meter function measures your home's energy consumption directly from the meter box using the included CT clamps for accurate, real-time data. Based on this consumption, the GroHome Manager-X intelligently steers your hybrid battery system, telling it precisely when to charge with surplus solar power or when to discharge to cover your home's needs.

This smart data can also be used by other devices in the Growatt ecosystem, such as the Thor EV Chargers or the GroBoost water heater. This ensures your self-generated solar power is used optimally within your home, which minimizes or completely prevents costly feed-in to the grid.

Integrated Datalogging & Monitoring

Thanks to its built-in datalogger function, the GroHome Manager-X connects your inverters directly to the internet for comprehensive monitoring via the ShineServer platform. It is compatible with both NEO micro-inverters (using their native LoRa RF) and traditional string inverters (equipped with an RFstick-X2).

This integrated feature means a separate ShineLink-X2 is no longer necessary. The GroHome Manager-X provides both consumption measurement and system monitoring in one streamlined device.

Flexible Installation & Connectivity

The GroHome Manager-X is designed for simple and versatile installation. Wireless LoRa RF communication between the manager and compatible inverters ensures a quick setup with minimal cabling. For installations that require it, two dedicated RS485 ports are also available to support wired connections with compatible inverters.

For its internet connection, you can choose between a stable wired connection via a UTP network cable or the convenience of a wireless connection via WiFi, depending on the situation at the installation site.
