The SolarEdge Home Hub inverter is the core of the SolarEdge Home Energy Management System (HEMS). You can easily install the inverter together with power optimizers, home batteries, smart meters, and a growing series of other smart energy equipment.




The SolarEdge 1PH Home Hub Inverter series consists of five single-phase residential inverters specially developed by SolarEdge for HEMS applications.




These Home Hub inverters feature DC Oversizing. This means there is more direct current (DC) power than alternating current (AC) power. This increases power output in low-light conditions. You can install a smaller inverter for a given size of the DC generator, or you can install more PV modules for a given inverter. The excess generated energy can be stored when using a battery system.



## Features of SolarEdge 1PH Home Hub Inverter 6kW



The SolarEdge 1PH Home Hub Inverter 6kW has a backup function and is, therefore, suitable for connecting a home battery. The supported battery model is the SolarEdge Home Battery 400V.




Due to overdimensioning, the inverter can handle a solar panel system with a power output of 12kW. This energy can be stored in up to three connected home batteries.
