De **Enphase Power Line Carrier Bridge** is used to connect an Envoy-S with the internet, in case there is no wireless (WiFi) or immediate cable (Ethernet) connection possible. An option is to choose for communication over the existing local power grid, or Power Line Communication (PLC). An advantage of this system is that an already existing power grid can be used, saving costs on having to create an Ethernet connection, for example. This allows the PV installation to connect with an Envoy-S and provide details on productivity and consumption.
