Il ponte **Ethernet Power Line Carrier Ethernet Enphase** viene utilizzato per abilitare la connessione tra un Envoy-S e Internet, dove non è disponibile una connessione wireless (wifi) o cablata diretta (Ethernet). In questo caso, si può scegliere di comunicare attraverso la rete elettrica, o la Power Line Communication (PLC). Il vantaggio è che è possibile utilizzare una rete elettrica già esistente e risparmiare sui costi, ad esempio per la posa di un cavo Ethernet. In questo modo l'impianto FV può comunque essere collegato ad un Envoy-S e acquisire una visione d'insieme dei consumi e della produzione.
