## Growatt ShineRFstick-X2


The Growatt ShineRFstick-X2 is the required communication dongle for establishing LoRa RF communication between a Growatt string inverter and a monitoring system like the [ShineLink-X2](https://www.estg.eu/en-gb/p/MR00.0040400/) or [GroHome Manager-X](https://www.estg.eu/en-gb/p/MR00.0034300/). This stick ensures a reliable, long-range wireless connection, which is essential for monitoring the inverter's performance.


### Package content


The standard ShineLink-X2 monitoring package includes one ShineRFstick-X2, suitable for connecting a single inverter. To monitor additional inverters on the same ShineLink-X2 system, a separate ShineRFstick-X2 must be purchased for each extra inverter, up to a total maximum of 3 inverters.


### Application


By utilizing LoRa (Long Range) radio frequency, the ShineRFstick-X2 transmits all necessary data to the central monitoring device. This eliminates the need for a direct Wi-Fi or LAN cable connection at the inverter itself, simplifying installation and ensuring a stable connection even over greater distances.
