The Sunny Tripower 5.0 is small, light and easy to install. Shade management is possible by default using the Shadefix system, which used to be OptiTrac Global Peak. In addition, the inverters are standard and automatically connected to SMA for monitoring and the system can be expanded through integrated TS4-R communication. ## Easy & fast installation Due to its low weight and compact size, this inverter is easy to install by one technician. All connections are on the bottom side and after installation it is easy to connect to the inverter via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. The inverter does not need to be opened. ## Shadefix OptiTrac Global Peak is nowadays called Shadefix and is actually a way of shadow management. As a result, the Sunny Tripower 5.0 will still perform excellently in light shading. Solar cells covered with shading will normally perform less well, reducing the performance of the entire panel. Shadefix bypasses the shaded cells, so the other solar cells will perform optimally and there will be less power loss. ## SMA Smart Connected SMA Smart Connected is an automatic system from SMA with which all inverters are monitored as standard. This is completely free of charge. As soon as a problem is detected, both the customer and the installer will immediately receive a message. In this way, the installer can intervene quickly. When an inverter needs to be replaced, SMA will provide a replacement device within 1 to 3 days. ## Extension TS4-R optimizers The Sunny Tripower 5.0 can easily be expanded with TS4-R optimizers due to the integrated TS4-R communication. This is useful, for example, when installations are more complicated or when there is more shading.
