The Sunny Tripower 8.0 is easy to install due to its light weight. There is also OptiTrac Global Peak, nowadays known as Shadefix. SMA Smart Connected is also standard as a free service from SMA. The inverter can also be easily expanded with TS4-R optimizers due to the integrated TS4-R communication. ## Easy & fast installation With only 20.5kg, this is a relatively light inverter, with a compact design. This makes it easy to install by one person. It is not necessary to open the inverter, because all connections are at the bottom of the device. An Ethernet connection and Wi-Fi antenna are included. The user interface can thus be easily accessed by a smartphone, tablet or other suitable device. ## Shadefix Shadefix is a form of shadow management that allows installations with light to medium cloud cover to function optimally. Thanks to Shadefix, the Sunny Tripower 8.0 ensures that solar cells that are partially or completely shaded do not affect the performance of the entire module. Without Shadefix, such cells would limit power throughput, resulting in power loss for the entire panel. ## SMA Smart Connected As soon as the inverter is installed, SMA Smart Connected ensures that it will be monitored automatically. This free system will inform both the installer and the customer in the event of a deviation. As a result, the parties directly involved know immediately about the problem and the installer can then respond appropriately. If a replacement device is needed, SMA will deliver it within 1 to 3 days. ## Extension TS4-R optimizers In light shade environments, Shadefix can ensure that the solar panel works optimally. In other cases, e.g. when it concerns a more complex installation or when there is more shadow, extending the Sunny Tripower 8.0 with TS4-R optimizers can offer a solution. These can easily be added due to the integrated TS4-R communication.
